| Abstract: |
| In this paper, a technique of automatic recognition of weld defects is introduced. The features of the system are discribed in detail. A series of effective methods including image preprocessing, feature selecting and classifier designing is presented. The recognition of weld defects has been done by this system for the typical radiographic inspection films of the welds. The results indicated the System has good prospects of application. |
