Abstract:
During the traditional short-circuit transition process metal transfer occurs randomly, the time ratio of shortcircuit to arc ranges, and energy distribution is unstable. Pushpull feeder CO2 welding system, which maintaining the metal drop transiting in a low current to insure the CO2 short circuit transition welding steady,is controlled by the push-pull motion together with waveform. With the matching parameters determined, pulling out the wires to force droplets transfer, has declined the equivalent arc current Iea and voltage Uea and reduced the heat input. The wires system in a similar period of time has push and pull motion completed, which means the time of short-circuit and arc is similar, and the energy distribution is also stable. The experimental results demonstrate that,a certain speed has improve the energy much more efficient, and the pushpull feeder CO2 welding system is a method with low heat input and effective control.
